No. Our bulbs are coated and we have conducted ozone emission tests, as well as spectral analysis to ensure our bulbs do not emit ozone and are safe. Light at 185nm wavelength produces ozone, and germicidal lamps typically produce some 185nm light, in addition to the 254nm germicidal wavelength. However, our bulbs use a special type of quartz and prevent transmission of the 185nm wavelength that creates ozone. In fact, 254nm wavelength light actually breaks down ozone, so not only do we not emit any ozone, but we would actually destroy any ozone present in the room at the time of treatment.
