Operating at 210 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM), the Arc Air will provide 2 Air Changes per Hour (ACH) in an 800 sqft room, inactivating 99%+ of select microorganisms in the room every 30 minutes.
The Arc Air is intended for use in occupied spaces, minimizing infection risk as people gather together.
In order to evaluate the efficacy of the Arc Air in each space, it is necessary to define the room size to determine how often the air will receive disinfection treatment. This is best done by calculating ACH (Air Changes per Hour) through the Arc Air. R-Zero recommends a minimum rating of 2ACH for the Arc Air in any given space.
Example: In an 800 sq ft room with 8ft ceilings, the Arc Air ACH rating is 1.97. This indicates that it will take approximately 30 minutes for all air in the room to pass through the Arc Air disinfection chamber one time. Subsequent passes every 30 minutes thereafter will result in a higher rate of microbe inactivation referenced in this chart.
