The LED indicator will turn red if:

The bulbs in the cartridge are depleted (after 8,800hrs of use).

The connection between the unit and the cartridge is not intact.

There is an issue with the cartridge or unit.

Unplug the unit.

Open the top grate
-
Remove particulate screen
-
Check to make sure the connector is fully attached to the UV chamber.

Plug the unit back in and turn it on.

If the LED light ring is still red, then your cartridge is depleted or there is an issue with the unit/cartridge. Contact customer support for replacement.
