Hubs
Hubs are edge network devices that stream data from WorkPoints and Counters to the cloud via a network. These are not installed on any particular furniture or location but rather in general areas surrounding CoWorkr devices. They simply need to be plugged into power outlets based on guidelines on the following pages.

Hub Installation:
“Hubs” are edge gateways for CoWorkr Sensors. Hubs typically connect to CoWorkr's cloud via a cellular network, however, they may also use WiFi or LAN connection.
-
Determine a location to install the Hub based on the following considerations:
-
Hub is to be located per Number and Location on Floor Plan
-
Hub requires 110V wall outlet or POE cable
-
Hub requires a clean solid plastic, wood, or metal surface for mounting
-
Avoiding enclosing hubs in metal such as a drawer
-
Hubs may be mounted to ceilings but must comply with NEC and other applicable building codes
-
-
Mount the Hub to the desired location
-
Hubs have an adhesive sticker on the back, peel the protective layer off and stick the Hub to the wall or furniture near the Outlet.
-
-
If using a Cellular connection, insert the USB Modem into one of the ports
-
Plug Hub into 110V wall outlet or POE cable. Note: there is no On switch, once the hub has been plugged into a power source, the hub will start.
-
When powered on, Hubs will flash LED lights and the USB stick should have a solid blue light
