If a powered-on Arc device is behaving unusually, you may restore the device to factory default settings by performing a factory reset. Examples of unusual device behavior:
- Arc control panel not displaying updated firmware version after a firmware update.
- Arc device is not displaying in the EFR Connect app browser for firmware updates though powered on.
- The Arc device was added to the wrong environment.
- The Arc device is not receiving property values.
- The Arc device displays no cellular connectivity with a value of less than -19.00 dB.
Perform a Factory Reset

Make sure the master switch by the power cord is ON.

Press the Power button on the Arc control panel.
a) The Arc device will boot showing a Please wait... message.b) Then the Property screen will appear displaying default location 1.

Press the Up and Down buttons simultaneously on the Arc control panel. The Device Info: Version screen appears.

Press the Up or Down button to navigate to the Device Info: Factory Reset screen.

Press Play/Pause button on the Arc control panel to select and run Device Info: Factory Reset. The device will re-initialize and eventually restart.
