R-Zero Arc is designed to treat hard, non-porous surfaces that are contaminated with certain viruses and bacteria. The Arc emits UV-C Light at a wavelength of 254 nm and is not meant for currently occupied spaces as direct UV-C exposure can be harmful to humans or animals.
The Arc utilizes four long-range infrared sensors that prevent operation if heat and movement are present in the disinfection area within 40 feet of the device. The device will also visually display the current status on both the handle and the halo lights on the top cap. When a cycle is started there will be a 30-second countdown (yellow Halo) for the Arc operator to exit the room safely before the UV-C bulbs illuminate. When illuminated the halo will turn blue.
After the treatment cycle is complete (green Halo), the room may be occupied immediately. The R-Zero Arc does not emit any harmful byproducts or leave any residual substances.
To keep the device stable during movement or operation, please utilize the caster tabs on the wheels. Flip down the lower gray tabs (labeled “ON”) on the wheels to lock the device in place for stability. The upper gray tabs (labeled “OFF”) will pop up. To unlock the casters, press down on the gray tabs labeled “OFF” until they flip down.
