How do you update your software and does it impact uptime?
Software Updates are regularly pushed to CoWorkr’s servers for App and Hardware (Hub) updates. Such updates do not impact data collection. Major updates are pushed on regional weekends to not disrupt uptime. WorkPoint sensor updates are not required while Hubs are updated regularly.
CoWorkr pushes two types of system updates:
1 Performance Updates:
Small App & server performance updates are pushed regularly and will not inhibit data collection. Any substantial updates for US, EUR, & Asia servers are pushed on shared weekend times but performance-based updates may be delayed to prioritize App uptime.
2 Security Updates:
Security updates are pushed immediately based on the threat level.
How do you update your hardware and does it impact uptime?
1 Sensor hardware updates are not required when in the field. While leased hardware may be updated when returned to CoWorkr, owned devices do not require updates and will continue to function as expected.
2 CoWorkr Hubs are automatically updated over-time-air during off-hours. Hubs that are purchased or leased are updated at the same cadence.
